• On Saturday August 22,2009 Dr. Weinstein received the prestigious Vaginal Surgeons Award at the 18th International Pelvic Reconstruction Vaginal Surgery Conference held in St. Louis, MO.

This award recognizes a surgeon who has contributed to the art of surgery by research, innovation, and education to advance the field of urogynecology and reconstructive surgery. See pictures of the Award and Dr. Weinstein on the Web Site Pages.

• In 2005 Dr. Weinstein received the Distinguished Surgeons Award from the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. This award recognizes a surgeon for his contributions to the art and advancement of gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Weinstein is a clinical Professor at UTSW educating students in the field of gyn surgery and also has developed many instruments,procedures.and videos to assist in gynecologic surgery.

• Dr. Weinstein received the 2007 Teacher of the Year Award by UT SouthWestern Medical School.

Dr. Weinstein teaches resident physicians vaginal surgery and also has a Fellow that he instructs in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.

• Dr. Weinstein again named to Best Doctors in America for 2007. Physicians are recommended for this designation by their peers. Dr.Weinstein has been named to the group from 2001 to 2007.
